For me, it was the most dramatic episode so far, with a lot of emotional scenes. It feels like a peak episode, and the animation was really good. They did an amazing job with this episode.

The flashbacks to Einar's family hit harder now that we know them. The way this show builds emotional weight over time is masterful. Thorfinn watching Einar grieve without saying much speaks volumes. The animation during the rainy scenes was gorgeous.

Masterpiece! Atmosphere & emotions were so peak. Thorfinn's nightmares were so unsettling, especially him being dragged down. We saw all that he was going through; remorse, self-hatred, scared, lost. What a character development & it was nice to see old characters guiding him.

This is fantastic episode! The emotions, pacing, and direction are perfect! Thorfinn finally understands what Thors said from the very start. The guilt, denial, and acceptance - climbing with the weight of those he wronged - to finally face the real battle. Absolutely beautiful!

Strong emotions from Thorfinn with Askeladd telling him to fight his true battle. Might possibly be my top 10 animes of all time. Truly a story everyone should watch and appreciate.
