EPISODE REVIEWS

It’s an emotional episode that shows the harsh reality faced by poor people. Overall, it is a meaningful episode that builds the story nicely.

Episode Context

Sitting at the near-quarter mark of the 24-episode season, this episode pivots from Thorfinn and Einar's developing bond in episode 6 to expand the world around them, deepening the dynamics on Ketil's farm. It establishes Thorgil and further develops Snake as key players whose presence will complicate the fragile peace. This directly sets the stage for episode 8, 'An Empty Man,' which continues mining the internal conflicts of characters grappling with their pasts and the expectations thrust upon them.
