Big shoutout to Makoto Yukimura's development on Thorfinn. Compared to how the kid was in the first season versus now, man the boy has grown into his own. Where I found myself getting annoyed at him for being a hot-headed kid in the first season, I now find myself rooting for him and eager to see where his journey takes him next. He's really grown into a real warrior man you love to see it.

Thorfinn's journey from a revenge-driven boy to a man seeking peace finally crystallizes here. His tearful breakdown and vow of non-violence is one of anime's most powerful character moments. Vinland Saga S2 ends perfectly. Emotional and unforgettable.

Overall, this season is a 10/10 masterpiece. I'd absolutely give it a 10/10, and I really hope they make a Season 3

The finale wrapped everything beautifully. Thorfinn choosing something other than revenge for the first time. Einar and Thorfinn's friendship being cemented. The sunset over the farm as Leif arrives. The final shot of the ocean... hope after so much darkness. Perfect.

Beautifully written season, it took risks as it was too different from S1 but the path writer took for Thorfinn's character development paid off. It wasn't rushed & more mature way of progressing the story. Mappa did amazing job with everything too. Hopefully there will be a S3.

Phenomenal, wholesome series! This is potentially the best anime along with greatest 2nd season of all time! That ending showing younger selves of the characters who had the most impact on Thorfinn were perfectly executed. He became a true, honorable warrior like his father was.

This episode focuses more on character growth and emotional storytelling rather than action. The pacing feels slower, but the development of Thorfinn’s journey is meaningful and thoughtful.
