I am deeply saddened that Michimasa didn't succeed because of his status. Pretty simple premise, didn't think much of it. But I think I can get behind it after Masako reflected on the past and her decisions. It's pretty fair and completely makes sense. Shame nothing much happened with it and the passing of time was quick.
