And of course, there will be a beach episode. Tokiya's bond with Haruka and his slow growth felt real. Also, great adding spooky twist and a group comedy. Overall, a pleasant episode.

Honestly, I really feel like an anime with this genre is not complete without a camp or a beach or a bath house episode lol. This episode was such a rollercoaster of emotions, from group comedy onto that quiet beach scenes and even a late night supernatural encounter.

It's the start of the mandatory beach event every romance/otome anime has to have. I want to talk about Otoya, but I don't want to, my heart is breaking for him already even though nothing has happened yet. But this episode isn't about him, it's about Tokiya. I really do like how Tokiya has been developed, he actually reminds me of Len from Kiniro no Corda. His relationship with Haruka feels real, maybe because he's the one who is developed in bits by bits. If I'm not biased towards Otoya, I'll probably ship Haruka with Tokiya.
