The friendship between the girls is lovely! They snuck in some unexpected feels. It continues to be cute and pleasant in a touching way. Heartwarming episode.

The emotions in this episode feels natural and I love the lighthearted tone here. It was also nice seeing Chiya's motivation here. The pacing from comedy to a sincere conversation was done smoothly, it also uses quieter scenes to add more dimension to our characters. The setting here was wonderfully done, it looks so surreal with the nighttime aesthetics.

This episode is mostly used to set up the characters' motivations for the rest of the story. We're only two eps in, but I already have some theories for who Chiya's mother could be.
