Better than the previous one. Action sequences feel to be better choreographed. I swear if i had a dollar for every time someone gets betrayed in this series, I would be a millionaire! Valt is a vile man! Introduction of the witch of the forest is a good turn of events.

Now the pace doesn't feel as fast as before. I'm really starting to understand everything in this anime. It turns out everything that happens has a reason, even if it was very abstract at first.

Lucresia’s condition felt less like a request and more like a test no one is meant to pass cleanly.

Episode Context

Coming off episode 8's dramatic reveals, Travis's demon encounter and the bombshell about Oscar's supposed child, 'Pride of the Past' deliberately pivots to Tinasha's solo arc in Magdalsia, separating the leads to build tension on multiple fronts simultaneously. Positioned at episode 9 of 12, this is a critical setup chapter: the mysteries and political threads introduced here directly feed into the escalating conflict ahead, as Magdalsia's actions reportedly push Tuldarr toward war in the episodes that follow.
