This episode feels very rushed. A lot of important revelations about Oscar's past stuffed into few scenes. The creators did not leave any time for character development. The romance part and the soft style animation is the saving grace. Action scenes look underbaked.

Wow, now it's starting to become clear what the main problem in this anime is. It turns out the story is that deep, no wonder it feels like there's a lot that needs to be told in more detail.

That barrier moment hit hard. Oscar’s desperation feels physical, like he’s pushing against something invisible and endless

Episode Context

Coming off 'Bloodless Scars,' which split focus between Tinasha's struggles in Tuldarr and Farsas under siege, episode 7 narrows its lens entirely onto Oscar and pivotal secrets that reframe the overarching narrative. Positioned just past the season's halfway mark, this installment functions as a critical bridge, processing the fallout of recent conflicts while laying essential groundwork for 'Half of Eternity' and the escalating consequences that will define the back half of Act.2.
