EPISODE REVIEWS

Off to the races with this series, the character personalities come in strong, and the races are incredibly fun to watch. Even the comedy, though questionable at first, is the last aspect needed to hook you on this whirlwind of a show about horse girls.

Episode Context

As the season premiere of a 13-episode run, this episode is purely foundational, it introduces Special Week, Silence Suzuka, and the world of Tracen Academy without rushing into competition. The relationship between Special Week and Suzuka established here becomes a central thread throughout the season. The next episode, 'The Debut Race out of Nowhere,' picks up the momentum by pushing Special Week onto the track for her first real challenge.
