Episode Context

Episode 44's revelations about Rokuro's true nature shattered the status quo, and this episode deals with the immediate fallout. Rokuro choosing to face the enemy alone, separated from Benio at the worst possible time. Sitting at episode 45 of 50, this is deep into the endgame, functioning as the emotional low point that tests the protagonist before the climactic confrontations ahead. It directly sets the stage for Episode 46, 'Yuto: Destiny,' where the central rivalry escalates toward its resolution.
