Episode Context

Arriving at episode 41 of 50, this installment follows the large-scale Kegare battle in Narukami and pivots the threat directly onto the Twelve Guardians themselves, fundamentally shifting who is in danger. It serves as a critical escalation point in the series' final stretch, transitioning from reactive monster-of-the-week conflicts to a more sustained, existential threat against the exorcist hierarchy. The developments here lay essential groundwork for the endgame confrontations that will define the remaining nine episodes.
