Interesting episode indeed! I really like the idea of putting two rivals in a situation that made them realize they weren't so bad after all. The romance in this episode is quite intense honestly and I did not expect the 2nd round thing.

I like the animation where they added different frames to a scene. It gives a unique blend and adds focus to certain moments. I really can’t watch this on speakers or when somebody’s with me because of the sounds though, if you know what I mean. 😉

the rival directors + roommates is such a good one, especially that they're in different years. i love the artistic feels of their relationship, adding elements of their personality as directors. and ofc, the officiating scene of their relationship, really love it, it was romantic, kind and just them. ichikawa's beautiful with that scene.
