My first time watching a BL anime, and for me, this first episode was typical of what I usually watch in live-action BL movies/series. It was a bit slow-paced for me, especially with the flashbacks from one of the main characters' POV. The animation was clean.

I like how natural the relationship between Mao and Hisashi felt. Their "agreement" is kind of funny but is important to not make things awkward. This episode is a good start for this series and the cliffhanger at the end definitely hooked me.

Felt like a slow start, but i do think it is perfect as it is for a slow buildup with the character introduction and all, and also with the cliffhanger with Mao realizing it.
