Tsurune the Movie: The First Shot Episode 1: Episode 1

I actually watched both seasons of Tsurune years ago, around 2025. I didn't realize how much I really enjoyed this anime until I watched this movie. The visuals are so gorgeous and I love the musical score especially when Minato lines his shot! It's also so nice to see Kyudo be showcased, especially in the way that it's done here. This is much more of a traditional type of archery. There's a lot more of culture incorporated that's displayed. Honestly, I also just love all the characters. Minato as a character really is someone that a lot of people can relate to. Plus Masaki is so hot! The whole movie was overall an amazing watch! It actually made me want to go rewatch the entire anime again! A feast for the eyes is what this is!

Aunque no he visto la serie o tenía conocimiento previo, fue sencillo entender el contexto, dejaron pistas y comentarios sutiles pero suficientes para que audiencia como yo todavía pudiera disfrutar la película, como siempre Kyoto animation presentando una animación de calidad, hay escenas que son bastante fluidas, además de que añaden los efectos de sonido en el momento preciso, en cuanto al ritmo de la película, me parece que fue algo apresurado, varios sucesos parecían ocurrir inmediatamente después de terminado el anterior, aunque tenían su punto de conexión, igual se llegaba a sentir algo fuera de lugar, aunque al final la construcción ayudó con la conclusión de la película.

Honestamente no conocía ese deporte antes, pero es una bella forma de explicar y mostrar un deporte, eso es algo que no puedo discutir, la representación del deporte fue hermosa

I've never felt so enchanted by a sport. It was truly breathtaking— the animation, the pacing, the nuances—making the watch utterly worth it. It was captivating in a sense that it teaches you many things in life, more subtly about patience, calmness, and confidence in oneself. It's kinda sad how there was some parts cut off compared to the TV version, but they made up for it too, like the slow-mo before Minato's arrow shot on the same part they made adjustments for.
