What truly impressive writing. To be honest, I WAS TRICKED! As I nitpicked before, the progression felt a bit odd, but it wasn't out of place. Now, everything makes sense! That said, W to Moriya. She's truly my favorite side character in this series. Overall, this episode wrapped everything up amazingly well. The conclusion was incredible and worth every tear I shed.

Episode Context

As the twelfth and final episode, 'One Moment' follows directly from episode 11's emotionally charged developments around Keisuke's decision to remarry and Mai's struggle to accept it. The entire season has traced the Niijima family's journey through grief, identity, and the possibility of second chances, and this finale serves as the emotional capstone to that arc. There's nothing left to set up, this is pure resolution, tying together every thematic thread the series has woven since episode one.
