EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

As episode 1 of 25, this premiere functions as a bridge from Season 1, reintroducing Makoto's growing sphere of influence and reestablishing his relationships with Shiki, Mio, and the demihuman community. It deliberately prioritizes character reorientation over heavy plot advancement, laying groundwork for Makoto's deeper entanglements with human society and rival summoned heroes. The extended 25-episode runway gives the season room to build, and this opener signals a measured approach to escalation.
