Tsugumomo

Synopsis
In Japanese folklore, a "tsukumogami" is an object that has gained a soul, becoming alive and self-aware. There are two types of tsukumogami: the mature "tsugumomo," who have developed through long years of harmony with their owners, and the aberrant "amasogi," premature spirits that are only born to grant the destructive wishes of certain people. Kazuya Kagami has never gone without his mother's obi after her death. Be it at home or school, he keeps it safe with him at all times. One day, he nearly loses his life when a wig amasogi attacks him. When all seems to be over, his treasured obi defends him, transforming into a beautiful girl. She introduces herself as Kiriha, a tsugumomo owned by Kazuya's mother. With Kiriha's arrival, Kazuya enters a reality he has never seen before, a world with gods and tsukumogami.

It’s great to see how much Kazuya has grown throughout the series. He’s willing to take risks, but he’s also decisive about what he wants. The final showdown was absolutely amazing. The animation isn’t on the level of something like Demon Slayer, but it remains consistently fluid and enjoyable. Well, there was no way they were going to skip the awkward moment at the end, was there? Of course they had to finish with one last crazy finale.
Someone here clearly needs to be humbled for once. There are a lot of emotions involved, but that’s still no excuse for such behavior, even if it’s being used as a form of mental defense. HAHAHAHA, that definitely caught her off guard, look how awkward she is. The preparations are complete, and now it’s time for the main stage. It’s looking great so far, with plenty of back-and-forth exchanges and displays of techniques and strategy. I’m excited to see how it all wraps up.
A lot is being set up for the final episodes, and the climax looks very promising. I feel like I understand about 80% of the overall picture now, although I think they could have revealed some of it sooner. Wow, she’s incredibly hot-headed. Something that had been left untouched for quite a while was finally addressed here. Their interactions always catch me off guard.
Hmm, things suddenly took a much more serious tone. Well, we’re approaching the final episodes, so it’s expected. It’s an interesting conflict, and I’m curious to see how they develop it. The lore is well built and genuinely engaging. There’s still so much hidden beneath the surface, and the bigger picture has yet to be revealed. Bro, that’s rough. What a crazy twist to end the episode.
So there’s an even greater power behind all of this. The tone is completely different from the previous episodes, but I’m enjoying it so far. And now we’re back to our usual routine. He actually bought that nonsense, hahaha. AGAIN? They really brought that topic back. Bro, come on. WHAT???? They’re completely insane this time. Oh nah, bro.
We learn about many past connections that hadn’t been shown before, but they make perfect sense in hindsight. This sudden development was fairly predictable, though. It feels like preparation for much bigger events. Wow, everyone here definitely has some loose gears in their heads. I honestly don’t even know what I’m watching anymore. That was certainly a unique experience.
This brother is something else… It’s tough, man; most of them are like this. Keep going, Chisato, there’s nothing wrong with you. Wow, the central issue of this episode is certainly unique. It’s actually well thought out considering all the hints that have been in the air. HAHAHAHA, he’s going to freak out every step of the way. He’s a complete roller coaster, with absolutely no clue what he’s doing. Will he actually pull it off? HAHAHAHA, this show never fails to deliver. WHAT IS THIS, BROOOOO????
Even with obvious budget limitations, the animators are doing a fantastic job adapting the manga into anime. You can really tell they care about the details. The process of becoming stronger always comes back to the basics: physical strength. HAHAHAH, she’s seriously unhinged. OMG, this is completely insane. And we jump straight into yet another incident. It’s nice to see the growth, along with the absolutely crazy conclusions they come up with, hahaha.
The tone just keeps escalating. There’s clearly much more going on than what we can currently see, but the full picture is still unclear. This might be the awakening of a new phase for both of them. Wow, he’s completely losing it, reaching a whole new level. I really don’t like this kind of approach, but I can’t deny the results. Everyone here seems to have a few screws loose. HAHAHAHAHA, what a crazy exchange. Now you’re tied to it, bro.
You can’t be serious, man. HAHAHAHAHA, he got exactly what he deserved. BRO, WHAT???? This show is heading in an absolutely insane direction. So this is the tone they’re setting for the upcoming developments. The animation surprises me every single time, I really expected the budget to be much lower. A high-paced sequence came out of nowhere, and I loved it.
HAHAHAHAHA, she really has a talent for coming up with insults. His view of himself is definitely not accurate at all. The usual high school boys’ conversations are always entertaining. It pains me to see that pattern here too, since she seems like such a good character. Sometimes he really deserves those beatings. In the end, it’s all much simpler than it seemed, hahaha. He can be surprisingly manly when he needs to be. Nah, I take it all back.
Following my streak of anime related to Japanese folklore, let’s go with this one. It has an interesting concept and is surprisingly well animated, especially considering it’s not a well-known title. Wow, the fluidity really caught me off guard. HAHAHAHA, I’m liking the characters’ personalities so far. I’m already feeling like the third wheel here. WAIT, WHAT??? What kind of language is that? HAHAHAHA. A really strong introduction.
