EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the first episode's establishment of Yuu's multi-partner situation, this second installment shifts focus toward the individual dynamics between Yuu and each of his partners, deepening the relational groundwork rather than simply reintroducing it. At the midpoint of a four-episode run, it serves as the connective tissue between setup and escalation, allowing each character a moment within the ensemble before competition and tension sharpen in the back half. Episodes 3 and 4 are positioned to push these dynamics toward their conclusions.
