Tropical Kiss
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Blessed with big plans and absolutely zero follow-through, Kaito abandoned his hometown without looking back. Now he's just drifting, day by day, until he lands a job at a breezy new resort called 'A LO HA' — the kind of place with white sand, ocean views, and apparently every woman he's ever been involved with. That last part he did not see coming. The setup is simple: a guy running from a vague sense of failure walks straight into his past, all at once, in the most vacation-friendly setting possible. What makes it work is that the reunion angle gives the whole thing a bit more texture than you'd expect. These aren't strangers — there's actual history between Kaito and the women he encounters, which adds some weight to the interactions and keeps things from feeling completely disposable. The tropical resort backdrop does a lot of heavy lifting visually, keeping the atmosphere warm and the pacing loose. If you've seen Resort Boin or something like Stringendo: Angel-tachi no Private Lesson, you'll have a reasonable idea of what to expect in terms of format and tone. It's a three-episode OVA adapted from a visual novel, so the story is compact — just enough to sketch out Kaito's situation and let the character dynamics breathe a little. Not trying to reinvent anything, but it's got a bit more personality than the average entry in the genre.
