Episode Context

Arriving just past the series' halfway mark at episode 15 of 24, this episode launches the 'Night Lords' arc, a significant narrative pivot that transplants the core cast from Vatican-centric storylines into the heart of the New Human Empire. Previous episodes established the fragile political landscape and Abel's dual nature; now the series tests those dynamics in hostile territory. This arc opener is pure setup, laying the groundwork for what will be the show's most politically charged and consequential stretch heading into the back half.
