Although this episode has a lot of action and emotion, it feels more like a filler. It doesn’t really help develop the main plot and instead plays out like a classic anime episode where each mission or obstacle gets resolved by the end.

Wolfwood and Milly teaming up is a great way to shake up the dynamics. It’s also cool that Vash and Wolfwood are more mysterious and serious compared to previous eps, and Milly's just so sweet~ That said, the resolution to the conflict felt confusing and lacking. A mixed bag tbh.

I love the emotional pacing in this episode. It brings out the best out of everyone, and even some of the uglier sides of their personalities. I think Milly takes the cake on this episode even though Wolfwood and Vash are the ones who drive the conflict into its conclusion.
