I have never watched and trigun series and yet this first ep I saw in Netflix has all the elements I wanted, a mysterious hero, a tragic past, very interesting characters. the anime is high quality

Picking up from Stampede, Stargaze gives us the aftermath of Lost July. Milly and Meryl’s dynamic is so cute🥺! From the OP, to the instrumentals, to the ED: the OST is a COMPLETE HIT!! The animation’s good and the visuals are BREATHTAKING. Solid intro to the season~

A new start for many characters including Vash with a great premise for more characters. A solid opening with great animation and combination of 2D and 3D.

This series will inevitably be confusing without prior knowledge of the original, but it works as its own standalone piece quite well! The moral implications of using plants, alongside the impending doom of humanity is an answer none of the characters can answer peacefully.

The worldbuild maintains its charm with its unique but quirky characters investigating the aftermath of the original series. This episode captured the apocalyptic state of their world very well, combining both mysterious and sad undertones for its collapse.

This episode brought about a great reintroduction to the world of Trigun Stampede! Characters are reintroduced in a refreshing way, launching the audience straight into action while maintaining its cyberpunk style.

Episode 1 of Trigun Stargaze sets a darker tone, focusing more on the world and side characters rather than Vash. The tension builds through new threats and backstory hints, with stunning visuals carrying the episode. It feels like a slow, serious setup for what’s coming.

A very quiet, atmospheric start. Vash’s Eriks design is a total 180 from his usual look—unshaven, long hair, and just looking completely drained.

Solid first episode. The desert visuals are stunning and the action sequences feel tight and satisfying — especially the gunfights, which are clean without being over-the-top. The main character makes a strong first impression without the show dumping too much information on you

Studio Orange did amazing work with lively character expressions and flawless environment design as expected! We're introduced to this season's big hopes and potential conflicts through Meryl's work, seamlessly transitioning to Hoppered's side of the story.

The animation is fluid & a step up from the already great animation last season. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here. Great start!

Episode 1 was actually really good, the desert setting looks amazing. The animation during the action scenes is smooth, and the gunfights are clean and satisfying to watch. The main character makes a strong first impression, I liked how they didn't overload us with info.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the first episode of a 12-episode season, 'Wandering Days' is pure foundation — establishing the post-Lost July status quo, reintroducing key players, and seeding the central conflict around plant robberies that will drive the narrative forward. It flows directly into Episode 2, 'Unforgiven,' where the consequences of those early threads begin to escalate and the investigative throughline picks up momentum.
