Knives' Grotesque Rebirth
The episode opens with a chilling descent into the heart of Knives' transformation, his body twisting into skeletal, organic forms against a backdrop of distorted cries. His eyes, glowing with a painful determination, open wide as black veins spread across his face. In a control room, Rem, Brad, Tesra, and Luida observe a holographic display of these forms, troubled by the ominous power. Rem's suggestion to help is met with hesitation, but Luida's weary apology, addressing her as 'Elendira', sparks a flicker of recognition and understanding in Rem.
Rem's Desperate Song
Rem stands before a piano, a desperate resolve settling on her face as Tesra questions her actions. She declares her intent to play the Plant's song, to ask for the cooperation of all Plants. Her fingers, stiff from decades of disuse, tentatively hum the melody, admitting that if everyone lends their power, Knives might be stopped. Rem's plea becomes fervent: she wants to live, to learn about humanity, to build a better relationship, and begs the Plants to lend her strength just this once.
Knives Unleashes Annihilation
As Rem plays, a glowing, ethereal image of her angelic form rises from the Plant statue. Simultaneously, in space, golden Plant ships unleash a massive beam at the red planet below, striking Knives. His body, consumed by agony and light, morphs into a horrific, organic, plant-like entity. Knives then transforms the Plant into a colossal, red-glowing, winged creature, absorbing other Plant ships and unleashing a torrent of destructive energy towards the planet. Luida watches in despair, recognizing the apocalyptic power of Knives' fully manifested Plant.
Rem's Angelic Counterattack
Rem, continuing her impassioned plea, plays the piano, now radiating a shimmering blue light. White feathers begin to fall around them as her ethereal, angelic form rises fully. The Plant ships, imbued with Rem's power, shift from golden to shimmering blue, flying towards Knives' monstrous Plant. They unleash a combined energy beam, striking Knives' red-aura creature. It recoils, visibly affected, its thorny surface cracking and glowing with blue light.
Vash's Fiery Descent
From the chaos of space, Vash descends rapidly, enveloped in a red aura like a fiery comet. Knives, from within his monstrous Plant, sees Vash and lets out a defiant scream, unwilling to yield. Vash extends a glowing blue hand towards Knives, his red aura replaced by a blue one, a gesture of compassion. "Don't move away from me!" Vash insists, pulling Knives into a blue embrace as they hurtle through the atmosphere, surrounded by fire and meteors.
The Brothers' Last Words
As they fall through space, Vash tells Knives he wants to end the fight, that there is no reason for them to battle anymore. Knives angrily refutes this, questioning what Vash has accomplished in 150 years and criticizing his inaction. He screams that he will not kneel, that his past and future selves would never allow it. "Even if I'm the only one left in the world, I will fulfill my mission!" Knives declares, utterly unwavering in his resolve, finally screaming, "Knives is dead!"
The Climax: Vash's Choice
Knives' Plant body explodes, throwing Vash back. With grim determination, Vash opens his eyes, activating his mechanical arm and weapon. He fires at Knives, who screams in rage, unleashing his own monstrous, multi-limbed form. The battle is a chaotic blur of energy and motion. Vash is caught in Knives' tendrils, his gun slipping, seemingly accepting his fate. But he remembers his promise to the Plant girl, that he wouldn't let her be alone, and unleashes a massive blue energy blast, pushing Knives away.
Transcendence and Unity
Vash declares he will bear the pain together with Knives, extending his glowing blue hand in compassion. He touches Knives' body, and a blue lotus-like energy forms around them, transforming the fiery chaos into a serene blue sphere. Vash's eye opens, glowing purple, as he merges with the blue energy, his body covered in intricate Plant-like patterns. He has transformed into a living Plant, a manifestation of his connection to them. Rem's angelic form gently touches Vash's outstretched hand, sharing a moment of profound understanding and intertwined destiny.
A World Reborn
Vash falls from space, a glowing yellow light, impacting the desert planet. Rain begins to fall on the parched land, creating small oases. The grey sky slowly clears, revealing blue. The desert is transformed into a lush, green landscape, with a beautiful rainbow arching across the sky. The massive Plant ship now rests gently on the newly fertile ground, no longer a threat. Red flowers bloom, bathed in gentle rain and sunlight, a powerful symbol of hope.
Four Years Later: The Green World
Four years have passed since Lost July, one year since Genesis in July, and the last shuttle departs, carrying residents to the immigrant fleet. The narration explains that July was reborn from hell, and Knives' 'last run' brought water and fertile soil to the waterless planet. A man tends to plants in a vast, green landscape. This new green world is described as a 'newborn baby', needing a long, long time to fully cover the planet. Only a few people remain to protect the Plants, while most residents embark on a new journey.
The Journalists' New Purpose
A wanted poster for 'Vash the Stampede', now stamped 'CANCELLED', drifts across the blue sky, a playful nod to his past. Meryl, Milly, and Vash are seen again, with Vash on his bird-like mount, looking confident and happy. The narrator explains that it was the Humanoid Typhoon, Vash, and his brother, Knives, who protected the planet. The journalists, Meryl and Milly, continue their journey, ready to document this new era. The narration speaks of the pain and sorrow of the Plants, and the importance of trying to know, of holding onto hope that future generations will coexist with them.
EPISODE REVIEWS

Incredible to see Vash again, he looks so awesome.

A truly beautiful end of a chapter with hints of a new beginning in Vash's life and everyone on Gunsmoke planet brews. A beautifully 3D rendered masterpiece with thought-provoking choices and how one choose a side and stay firm against the whole world.

2D and 3D animation blends perfectly in this episode. I was so hooked to the anime so that I didn't realize when it finished with such a perfect happy ending. Vash's Hairstyle was wow... TQ Orange Studio for best finale climax and keeping us excited for next bigger upcomings.
