An OVA that is more of a supplementary material to the Triage X main series, although still worth a watch. It works best as a character-focused side story rather than a major continuation. Mixing a present-day lighthearted framing device with a darker flashback, it adds welcome context to one team member while keeping the series' trademark vibes with action and fan-service. The usual stuffs, y'know.
This episode focuses on the childhood story of Sayo Hitsugi and shows how she gradually overcame her emotional wounds to become the person she is today. Throughout her journey, there is always someone by her side, supporting and guiding her growth.
