I could not stop thinking about Vandel promising to protect Hertrude as a kid and then dying saying be happy princess. That guilt thing broke me

Episode Context

Episode 10 closed with Vandel disrupting the Royal Ship's advantage and Leon arriving to answer the crisis, and the eleventh installment carries that momentum forward by dividing the fighting into two fronts. Leon's confrontation with Vandel and the group's attempt to reach Hertrude aboard the Principality flagship set up the season's closing resolution. The final episode is left to settle both the military conflict and the unresolved feelings left between the characters.
