Marie is so annoying and her screaming about being broke in the bathhouse is the funniest thing ever

That reveal that Marie was actually his sister from the old life was such a nasty shock for Leon

Starting with the game over screen was a smart way to show how much Leon has already broken the story and now Marie is just making it worse

The ending hit me differently when Kyle revealed that island is actually his homeland and suddenly this stupid mission feels way more personal than just a political trap

Leon getting his treasure stolen by the temple while his stepmother screams at him was painful to watch and it sucks he finally gets a title only to be treated like garbage

Marie stealing the Saint role is such a mess and you can tell she is just in it for the money especially with how she treats the prisoner princess

The art style looks different this season and everyone looks a bit squished but the comedy is still there when Leon starts burning those letters from the gold diggers

I actually missed Leon being a total jerk to the nobles so seeing him burn all those letters was the best part of the return. The art style shift is definitely weird and the characters look a bit cheaper than season one, but the voice acting still carries the snarky tone well enough for me to keep watching.

Olivia and Angelica are basically a couple at this point and that bath scene really proved it especially with Marie getting so mad about their figures

I was laughing so hard when those five princes tried to charge Marie half a million for a statue while they are totally broke and she realized her harem is just a bunch of losers

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the Season 2 premiere, this episode bridges the gap from the Principality of Fanoss conflict that concluded Season 1 into an entirely new phase of Leon's story, re-establishing characters, relationships, and the world's power dynamics. It functions as a launchpad, prioritizing setup and reorientation over major payoffs. Everything here is foundational — the threads introduced will define the trajectory of the entire season ahead.
