Episode Context

This episode is the direct launch point for Season 2, picking up after the first season's conclusion and resetting Leon's status quo around his new unwanted obligations and Marie's elevated saintly standing. No prior Season 2 episode precedes it, so it carries the full weight of reintroduction. It lays the groundwork for what follows, with the next episode set to kick off a significant expedition to an elf island in search of treasure.
