This episode makes way too much sense. Explains all the Alice in Nerima Land foreshadowing they've been doing.

Golf ball rain. Sentient turnips. Human-shaped trees. Giant organs. This episode is a gloriously unhinged fever dream tour of post-apocalyptic Japan. Meanwhile Akira's mushroom infection reverting her to a childlike state adds genuine stakes beneath the absurdity. Absolute chaos.
