Tower of God Season 2: Return of the Prince

Another slow episode, but we're still slowly getting there, there isn't any fighting in this episode, but we're instead introduced to all the new cast on this 20th floor. I think it won't be too long of an arc. But it feels important enough that they're taking the time to tell all of their backstories. They're all fun characters, loud and chaotic, very different from the first season characters. I think it will be fun, contrast to how Voile is now acting. We're still yet to know what happened to him after the first season. I can't wait!

It feels so good to continue watching this series again after the intense first season, though if you're just starting, you might be confused of what had happened and who was shown in the flashback, so it would be better to watch the first season to familiarize yourself with the series. But so far, the first episode is rather slow and only starts to get interesting towards the end. I bet the second episode will be better.

The tension is insane, and the chess pieces are being set up for an explosive season.

Still, it effectively solidifies the new core team that will be climbing together alongside Viole.

Man, seeing Ja Wangnan struggle brings a great emotional grounding to the story. The introduction of the untrustworthy, debt-collecting characters adds a gritty, high-stakes layer to the test prep. The animation during the brief action sequences feels incredibly crisp, and the slow-burn psychological tension builds up beautifully right until the final moments.

An excellent continuation that keeps the momentum of the new arc going strong. The physical testing machine sequence was a fantastic way to showcase the ridiculous gap in raw power between Main characters and the rest of the Regulars without spoiling any larger plot details. It’s a bit jarring to move away from the season 1 cast, but the new team dynamics are building beautifully!

This felt very much like a “get ready, things are about to go down” episode. The new setting already makes everything feel bigger, and seeing different personalities stuck together again was surprisingly fun. Not gonna lie, the build-up alone made me excited to keep watching.. Can't wait to find out Khun's next secret move!!!

After all the chaos, this episode felt like putting puzzle pieces together little by little. Seeing Wangnan’s team interact more was actually ease the tension, and Khun’s moments had me paying extra attention 👀 Feels like the story is slowly lining up for something huge...

Yeah… this episode was intense. The emotions were running high and Viole honestly stole the spotlight for me. Some scenes looked really good visually too, especially during the bigger confrontations. Definitely not an episode you casually watch while multitasking 😅😅

Things escalated FAST here 😭 The Hand of Arlen setting looked pretty cool, but the tension? Absolutely stressful. I liked seeing Viole’s team sticking together more, while Khun being involved automatically makes everything feel smarter and messier at the same time. It's like we found another unexpected revelation.. like wth is going on😱😱

The vibe got unexpectedly emotional here. Kang Horyang finally gets more focus, and honestly, it made me way more invested in him. There’s mystery, tension, and that uncomfortable feeling that something’s about to go very wrong... Tower really loves stressing me out huh 😭

This episode felt oddly unsettling in the best way possible. Something called Emily suddenly starts popping up everywhere, and the way everyone reacts to it made me lowkey suspicious the whole time 👀 I also liked how the episode quietly builds tension without throwing nonstop action at you. Feels calm… but not really calm???
