This episode flips everything. What Jin did is great BUT boom, Momotaro surveillance instantly locks onto him. No more hiding. No more “lowkey conflict.” They’re officially targets now.

The hospital situation?? Using an injured girl as leverage?? That’s not villain behavior, that’s straight up cruel. This episode makes you hate the Momotaro side more than ever.

Mudano straight up pulls them out and hides them in the Nerima branch hideout. And it hits you like… yeah, they’re not ready to face this head-on yet. That Momotaro is getting on my nerves lol

Episode Context

Sitting right at the midpoint of a 24-episode run, episode 14 marks a decisive tonal shift after the festival reprieve in 'Mikado, Like the Gate of the Gods,' pulling the narrative squarely back into escalating conflict. This is where the season pivots from setup to consequence, forcing core characters to confront the weight of their actions. It lays critical groundwork for the intensifying challenges that will define the back half of the season.
