EPISODE CONTEXT
This standalone filler episode continues a mini curry shop storyline introduced in Episode 69 where Toriko set out to help acquire rare ingredients, but it sits outside the manga's main progression at roughly the midpoint of the 147-episode run. It functions as a breather that reinforces Toriko and Komatsu's partnership before the series pushes into more consequential arcs ahead.
