Episode Context

Episode 134 sits deep in the endgame stretch of Toriko's 147-episode run, following directly from Toriko and his allies' desperate defense of Komatsu against the Bishokukai in episode 133. The war between the IGO and Gourmet Corp. is now at a boiling point, and this episode escalates that conflict with one of Toriko's most defining battles. It serves as critical connective tissue leading into the final dozen episodes where the series' largest confrontations will reach their resolution.
