Episode Context

Positioned at episode 124 of 147, this filler installment lands in a transitional window between the aftermath of Komatsu's cooking festival invitation in Episode 123 and the buildup toward the major Cooking Festival arc. It serves as an action-heavy breather that doesn't move the canon narrative forward but maintains momentum and keeps Toriko's combat credentials front and center before the series enters its final stretch.
