This episode lowkey shows how trauma doesn’t magically disappear just because someone says “I’ve changed.”

The wrestling show setup being goofy while Taiga is dealing with serious issues?? The tone clash actually works

Ryuuji meant well but you can feel how badly he misunderstood Taiga’s situation. Watching him push her toward someone she clearly doesn’t trust was so frustrating. The festival prep being all fun and chaotic just made the family drama hit harder.
