One of the most underrated rom-com anime out there. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve rewatched Toradora, and for whatever reason, I just never get sick of it. Episode 1 does a good job of establishing the scenarios, characters, the plot, but the flow feels natural.

Such a chaotic way of introducing the main cast and show how different their lives are. The narration starts to set the tone right away while giving a solid first impression on the different characters. Even the background music adds vibe and put everything together nicely.

The animation is fluid and ahead of it's time and the soundtrack is amazing and fits well.I love the intro of a deep riddle of words that may foreshadow the future.Perfectly paced and I love the voice acting and body language of each character that details their characters well.

EP 1 starts off with a good introduction of the main cast. It introduced the characters well and it gives you a grasp on what kind of person they are. The premise of how Taiga and Ryuji got connected was also interesting and very hilarious.

I felt somewhat disappointed initially at start, but the second half truly picked up momentum. Not impressed by the animation but definitely not awful. Rie portraying Taiga is quite good. The music has been fine up to this point. Humor is good too, I like it.
