📖 SYNOPSIS

In a high-tech metropolis, androids called Jobroids work alongside humans as police officers, firefighters, and paramedics — except these androids can also transform into their respective vehicles and then combine with armor to become full-on mecha called Bravers. The main character is Wapper, a police Jobroid who ends up becoming Police Braver after rogue Jobroids start causing chaos in the city. It's basically a love letter to the Tomica toy line, but wrapped in a surprisingly fun little mecha show aimed at kids.

The whole thing is an ONA with short episodes, so it's easy to dip into without committing to a 50-episode backlog. Each episode leans into the combining-vehicles-into-robots formula with enough energy to keep younger viewers locked in, while the different job-themed Bravers give it a nice variety — think police cars merging with armor one episode, fire trucks the next.

If you liked Transformers: Wild King or Shinkalion: Change the World, this hits a similar sweet spot of vehicle transformations and teamwork-driven action. It's got that Dancougar combination gimmick DNA too, just dialed down for a younger audience. The real charm is how it takes everyday hero roles — cops, firefighters, medics — and makes them feel genuinely cool through the mecha lens. Studio Infinity Vision keeps the animation clean and the action easy to follow. A solid pick if you've got kids who are into robots and vehicles, or if you just never outgrew that phase yourself.
