Episode Context

As the season opener, this episode has no prior context to build from and instead does the foundational work of establishing Jooheon's personal stakes, the relic-powered world, and the dangerous dynamics that will define the season. It sets up the core premise efficiently so that Episode 2, 'Those Who Seek to Own Relics,' can immediately begin widening the conflict around relic ownership and the factions competing for power.
