THE MANIPULATION LAYERS IN THIS SHOW ARE INSANE. Knowing who the real villain is from this early makes rewatching even better. Tokyo Revengers is playing chess while other anime play checkers I swear.

I don't know what to say. To say that I'm devastated would be an understatement. Just as i start to like a character they have to ruin it for me. I'm so hoping that the next episode at least brings some hope

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 3's resolve-building momentum, Episode 4 serves as an essential reality check. Takemichi's determination meets the harsh, unintended consequences of altering the past. Positioned early in a 24-episode run, this is the bridge episode that transforms the premise from simple wish-fulfillment into a genuine moral gauntlet, setting the foundation for the increasingly complex dilemmas and escalating stakes that define the rest of the season.
