I feel so good when they play these flashback scenes. At least then all of them are safe and happy. Kazutora finally realised his mistake but so late.

Episode Context

Coming off the intense escalation of Episode 21, this penultimate stretch deliberately slows down to provide essential backstory and emotional grounding before the season's climax. The reflective focus on Toman's founding principles and the relationships between Mikey, Baji, and Kazutora deepens the weight of everything that's been building across the Valhalla conflict. With only two episodes remaining, this introspective pause sets the emotional foundation for the consequences and resolutions ahead in Episodes 23 and 24.
