At first I was really surprised when everything was going in an order i was confused but then Kazutora punched that guy and I was like there it is. I don't know what's going to happen but I hope Takemichi succeeds in his mission.

Episode Context

Positioned at the three-quarter mark of the season, 'Open Fire' serves as the critical bridge between Episode 17's devastating backstory revelations about Baji and Kazutora and the full eruption of the Bloody Halloween arc. The emotional groundwork laid in prior episodes now crystallizes into tangible stakes as the narrative shifts from understanding why these characters are broken to watching them march toward confrontation. Everything from here accelerates toward the season's climactic gang war and its fallout.
