Yes! Takemichi’s character development is getting amazing. His will to protect the people he loves makes him really hard to defeat. Another moment where he’s almost beaten, but help arrives in time. Full action in this episodes and we can finally see mikey seems struggle to win (hopefully not too struggle)

Kisaki’s shadow looms larger. Strategy overtakes brute force. Political manipulation within gangs becomes central. The psychological tension sharpens.

This episode had so many potential and they missed it, they stall at every given opportunity and just fail to impress. Though they had a massive battle, it was okay. Draken got stabbed, because Takemichi was laying around and he doesn't see the seriousness in saving a life.

Must-Watch Episode. Takemichi finally stops crying and starts tanking hits. He’s taking a world-class beating to protect his crew. It’s a desperate struggle to keep the heart of Toman beating.

No power-up, no miracle: just a coward deciding he’s done running. Takemichi biting, choking, refusing to let go… that’s identity being reclaimed. He doesn’t become Mikey. He becomes himself, and that’s enough to change the field.

Even in a world of tough battles and gang rivalries, Tokyo Revengers carries a hopeful message: if you care enough and fight for the people you love

The episode creates a tense atmosphere through Takemichi's attempt to safeguard his friends while facing his historical challenges. The flashbacks deliver essential background information, and the pacing maintains your interest throughout the story.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the season's midpoint, 'Rerise' escalates the Moebius confrontation that Episode 9 ignited, pushing the gang war from buildup into full-blown crisis. This is a pivotal turning point—the consequences established here directly shape the trajectory of Episode 11 and the back half of the season. It marks the transition from the conflict's opening clashes to the deeper fallout that will test every alliance Takemichi has fought to build.
