This episode broke my heart :')) I understand both sides completely, and it is in the best interest for all parties involved, but it still got me bawling my eyes out. I hope the plan works out, though I somehow do have a bad feeling about it...
Kisaki is a good grey-scale character, and having him as the leading catalyst for the leading episodes to the major fighting moments does well for the tension. There are emotional moments of love which show how Takemichi’s ability is directly impacting his life.
This episode starts at a slow pace and stays that way until the end. In the first half, it’s skippable since it doesn’t affect the next episode much. But the second half has a crucial moment related to present-day Takemichi. This episode mainly focuses on Takemichi and Hina, with some flashbacks for them. If you insist on skipping it, it still won’t affect the next episode
