Tokyo Mew Mew New

I found myself really getting into this! I much prefer the way they look compared to the original, though Ichigo should have kept the pink hair when she transforms since she’s easily recognizable being the only redhead in Japan! Aside from that I enjoyed each character’s development and how each character was able to shine compared to other shows where only the main character tends to stand out, they all received the right amount of screen time that allowed their personalities and strengths become apparent to the audience even their weaknesses were on full display for us to see them overcome them. A very sensational anime, would recommend it to anyone!

This was a great season finale, it had the works romance, action, and a mysterious cliffhanger of an ending that leaves you wanting more! The music was inspirational, and the speeches were heroic, and uplifting not just for the characters, but for us as well. The soundtrack was great at the end, it really sold the moment for me! I hope my reviews of this series will spark your curiosity!

Alright, the final showdown will soon commence! We learn the back story of the aliens and why they do the things they do. We get the lore behind the cocoon, and what it entails, and the foreshadowing Lettuce witnessed has come full circle. All that's left to do now is to take out the trash!

The story adds yet another layer to the powers the Mew Mews hold. The final battle is about to commence, and the team is tasked with an important mission. You interested! I bet you are, the final countdown begins!

Aoyama: "Wait you could die!" Mew Ichigo: "It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me." The girls showed they are the best wingmen around, Ichigo should be thankful for them. On another note the original made a point to change not just the eye color, but the hair color as well, Ichigo is literally the only redhead in Tokyo, the writers are stretching out the suspension of disbelief. all things considered, it's a great episode.

The writing surrounding Lettuce's fears is inconsistent I won't spoil it, just remember back to the pool episode. I did in fact like how the powers responded to a need rather than contrivances compared to previous episodes, and we finally get the full transformation sequence for Lettuce, you probably didn't notice, but she was the only one not to receive one since her debut. There were hints of foreshadowing, and of forces that even the Mew Mew don't quite understand!
