SO many character interactions and resolve in this episode which were long-awaited! Nishio and Kaneki's talk was very different from the one he had with Touka. But probably because Nishio doesn't have that deep a bond with him. Touka's running scene too, everything going down

I was honestly so confused by the sudden introduction of the black dogs and whatnot, and assumed for the most part during the battle - but like where did all the other random ghouls come from?? The pacing is all over the place with a lack of anticipation.

That transition from hopeful moments to Kaneki’s shock at the CCG’s arrival was seamless. The music carried it, but the execution really stood out. The fights were intense( especially the Owl!!) and made the wait feel completely worth it.
