This is the episode where the series fully commits to its central question: can sheer human conviction stand against actual monsters? 😭 Somehow the answer is both “absolutely not” and “YES” at the same time

Overall this episode is peak “passionate idiot fights impossible odds” storytelling. Ridiculous, heartfelt, overdramatic, and somehow genuinely inspiring at the same time

The hand-drawn feel of the final fight genuinely elevates the episode. The rough animation style makes every hit feel heavier and more desperate. Probably the best-looking action episode in the series so far <3333

Love conquers all, I guess!!
Nakao the MVP.
Akhirnya dia keluar juga dari cangkangnya. Agak kontras dengan gaya cool di awal, tapi tetap keren dan lucu.
Fightnya Yuriko jujur agak antiklimaktis.
Lanjut, ke Episode pamungkas.

Solid battles, character arcs completed and revenge matches were well executed. Almost the perfect 2nd last episode. Really looking forward to the finale next week!

Man, Nakao's punch of love was seriously wild. Who would've thought getting hit that hard would actually fix things?

I loved seeing Nakao realize his subordinates were brainwashed and then literally punch the love into them that was hilarious and heartfelt

That double rider kick at the end was so satisfying just what I needed to see this episode felt awesome

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 23 sits one step from the finale, following Episode 22's "Shocker Is on the Move," which signaled the antagonist faction's escalation. This penultimate chapter is positioned to be the narrative's highest-tension pivot point before Episode 24 delivers the resolution. Fans who have followed Tanzaburou's journey across 22 episodes should treat this as essential, non-skippable setup for the series conclusion.
