Absolute hilarity from this show. It's engaging enough that you sit through the ridiculousness to get to the next moment. YEEEE!

this is both intriguing and hilarious, I thought I was watching anime version of KR but it's a different take on it.

Viral hero moment hits both ways: he becomes a meme AND a menace. The internet cooked him but also accidentally created a legend LMFAO

Episode Context

As the first episode of a 24-episode run, this is pure foundation, introducing Tanzaburou Tojima's character, his unfulfilled aspirations, and the comedic-action tone that will define the series. No prior context is needed; this is the starting line. The groundwork laid here directly feeds into upcoming episodes where Tojima's obsession pulls him into increasingly dangerous territory, including encounters with a group known as 'Fake Shocker.'
