This feels like a well-earned breather after a long day. Calm, warm, and meaningful when both fragile people, the old and the innocent, look out for each other. It finally reveals who Fushi is, his purpose, his fate sealed by his creator, and their enemy for the journey ahead.

Even though Pioran is a crazy old grandma, she helps teach him the basics of reading and writing. It was wholesome watching Fushi slowly learning how to speech. A monster, created by a mysterious man, ambushes Fushi and forces him to use every form he has to beat it.

Okay this ep is rough. The tension is way higher and it feels like everything is about to go wrong every second. Hahahaha this show really knows how to make you panic quietly instead of doing loud anime action all the time.

Episode Context

Positioned at the rough quarter mark of the 20-episode season, Episode 6 serves as a necessary exhale after Episode 5's significant loss, redirecting energy toward Fushi's personal evolution and his bond with Pioran. It functions as a bridge episode, converting grief into growth and establishing the emotional and narrative foundations that will carry into Episode 7, 'The Boy Who Wants to Change,' where new characters enter the picture and the stakes begin to escalate again.
