This episode is the "soul" of the early season. It proves that To Your Eternity can still make you cry over a character you haven't seen in 20 episodes, and it successfully bridge the gap between Fushi's past and his new, complicated future with the guardians.

Tonari’s return doesn’t feel like a reunion; it feels like a sacrifice already set in motion. The Nokker threat becomes something disturbingly internal, making survival feel cruel. Fushi can’t save her; he can only carry what’s left. A burden he needs to bear.

This episode introduces new dynamics, but it takes time to click. The emotional weight is there, just not as strong as previous arcs yet. Feels more like groundwork than payoff. 🧩
