TO-Y

📖 SYNOPSIS

Set in 1987, "TO-Y" follows the band GASP, led by vocalist To-Y, as they strive for recognition in the music scene. Their upcoming concert at Yaon Hibiya represents their chance to break out, but they face challenges. Their rival, the popular Aikawa Yoji, and his manager, Ms. Kato, actively work against GASP's success. Kato attempts to lure To-Y away from his bandmates to sing solo. Adding to the complexity is Niya, a character with unexplained feline traits who claims to be To-Y's "aijin," much to the dismay of Koishikawa Hiderou, who is also interested in To-Y. The series explores themes of artistic struggle, societal acceptance, and the clash between mainstream popularity and the unconventional lifestyle of GASP and its fans, who are often seen as outsiders.
