It was a truly unexpected romance. Its in depth exploration, supported by a plot that conveys a theoretical undertone, left me utterly amazed. Furthermore, the stunning scenery and visuals made me want to keep watching😍 Although the narrative does make you think a bit🤏🏻😭 The emotions feel all the more poignant and profound thanks to the soundtrack, which creates a deeply relatable atmosphere. The sadness, happiness and mixed emotions experienced by Koyomi offer the audience a meaningful message. There’s so much character growth here. What I’ve learnt from this is to make the most of the time we have with the people we love. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys romance intertwined with a coming of age story, it’s exactly the kind of narrative we all long for, even if it does have some heart wrenching moments.

To Me, The One Who Loved You is a sad, emotional sci-fi romance movie where the protagonist spends his whole life trying to get closer to his childhood love. The story focuses on the negative consequences of switching between parallel worlds and also explains the concept of parallel-world travel in more depth than To Every You I've Loved Before.
