The role reversal was long overdue and absolutely delivered. A cooking hamster, the Demon Lord being a fanboy, and Vanilla's wholesome family all in one episode? This show keeps finding new ways to make you laugh and feel warm at the same time.

The hamster can cook better than me what?? Also the fact that the Demon Lord was a fan of Hamu and even took a picture with it, is hilarious! The side by side comparison hello?? In addition, this episode introduced a new character- I love her design so much! She's a maid working under the Peschutz family which speaking of Peschutz family, Vanilla's parents cherished her so much it's so endearing to watch! Vanilla love her parents and her parents love her just as much. I love family troupes and I'm so happy to see a normal happy family! They remind me of the Demon Lord's family which I love as well

Role reversal energy this episode and it is GLORIOUS. Someone finally gets a taste of their own medicine and the reactions are priceless. One of the funniest episodes so far this season no debate.

I do love how the conceit has just kinda given up on the tortures having Hime give in before she gets the reward, and just assumes that she will confess anyway, meaning she gets the tasty thing first and then gives the secret in exchange. Funny episode!

The show sneaks in a genuinely sweet moment underneath all the comedy here and it lands better than expected. The rapport between the characters has real warmth to it by this point. Still funny, still absurd, but there's a little more heart in this one than usual.
